Our Destinations

Ons Island
The island of Ons is an island belonging to the Pontevedra municipality of Bueu, located at the entrance to the Ría de Pontevedra in Galicia, Spain. It is the main island of the Ons archipelago, which includes the island of Onza or Onceta and other small islets. This archipelago, along with the Cíes, Sálvora, and Cortegada islands, forms the Atlantic Islands National Park of Galicia. To the south of the archipelago, at the tip of the Morrazo peninsula, lies the protected area of the Costa de la Vela or Soavela.
Aldán Estuary
It is located at the tip of the Morrazo peninsula, with its entrance limited by Punta Couso (O Hio, Cangas) and Cabo Udra (Beluso, Bueu) and oriented to the N-NW, that is, approximately aligned with the Ons and Onza islands. The river that flows into the beginning of the estuary is the Río Orxas, forming a wide bag-shaped inlet that encompasses the beaches of San Cibrán in Aldán and Vilariño in O Hio. The endorheic complex situated behind the line of dunes of Vilariño beach, the VPO housing, and the Vilariño-Igrexario road, indicates that it was once marshland, but today its connection is a short channel, and the lagoon is fresher than brackish. The southern part of the lagoon A Lagoa is called A Lontreira, referring to the presence of otters (londras or lontras in Galician) in the area..
Cies Islands
Natural paradise in the Ría de Vigo, the Islands are part of the Maritime-Terrestrial Natural Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia. This archipelago consists of three islands: North or Monteagudo, Middle or do Faro, and South or San Martiño. The first two are connected by the sandy beach of Playa de Rodas and a breakwater. The Cíes Islands were declared a Natural Park in 1980 and included in the National Park M-T of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia created in 2002, along with the
The Cíes Islands promise visitors an excellent excursion in a highly protected natural space to fully enjoy nature. In this unspoilt paradise, we can highlight Rodas Beach, awarded the title of “The Best Beach in the World” by the renowned British newspaper “The Guardian”. It is worth coming to explore the islands, visit the beaches, and enjoy nature in one of the few Virgin Paradises that remain on earth.

Lapaman Beach
Beach in a straight line, with the whitest and finest sand of all the beaches in the municipality. Located in a forested area, to the right of San Clemente Island and adjacent to Santo do Mar beach. It is characterised by its calm, warm, and crystal-clear waters; ideal for enjoying a swim. With an anchorage area for boats and good facilities.

Caneliñas,Portonovo
Its name already hints at its secluded smallness, located in the heart of the village of Portonovo and flanked by a beautiful recently developed promenade. The hotels and restaurants in the village cater to its visitors. With fine white sand, it features a rocky stretch known as A Covasa, where at high tide a natural pool forms, allowing for immersion among the rocks. In this very rocky area, there is another zone called O Sepelo, where one can fish with a rod or underwater.
Tuia Beach
The beach of Tuia is a large beach, shaped like a half shell, with white and coarse sand, located in the municipality of Bueu, very close to Cabo Udra and washed by the waters of the Ría de Pontevedra.
Portomaior Beach
The Portomaior Beach combines natural appeal with a wide range of services that make this large golden sandy beach a perfect place to go with children. Choosing a beach to swim and spend a summer day in Galicia can feel endless, given the number of beaches and small coves it has.
This beach is located in the Pontevedra region of Bueu, and we can access it either on foot from the city centre or by car via the PO-551 road.
Playa Pasariñas
Sheltered from the northern winds, as it is oriented to the southwest, it is a small cove that holds the charm of the cliff that precedes it. Its length is 350 m.
Next to it, there is a campsite and hotels with a restaurant; however, the area is rural and humanised. Its sand is white and fine-grained. The beach is sheltered, although with moderate waves, which makes swimming easier.
Montalvo Beach
Located in the place of the same name, it has a length of 1,000 m. In its vicinity, there are several campsites, hotels, and restaurants, and it also offers all kinds of services. A beach with fine white sand and waves that allow for surfing or bodyboarding. A wide sandy area with a recreational area perfect for a peaceful picnic.
Baltar Beach
The beach is recognised with the European Blue Flag award. It is also known as Portonovo Beach. Alongside the beaches of Canelas and Caneliñas, it is part of the beaches of Portonovo.
The atypical dunes of this beach are now protected by the council in an attempt at conservation. These small dunes are formed thanks to the wind that lifts the sand from the beach and pushes it towards its rear area.
A flat area located behind Baltar beach, between the wooden promenade and the main road, is used each year by the village for festive events, such as children's games, concerts, or to set up the fair during the two patron saint festivals in July and August that are celebrated in
Tambo Island
The island of Tambo (in Galician, Illa de Tambo) is a Galician island in the province of Pontevedra, located in the middle of the Ría de Pontevedra, towards its final part, between the town of Marín and the municipality of Poyo. It has an area of 28 hectares and reaches an altitude of 80 metres. It is oval-shaped and has a typical pyramidal form completely covered with trees, especially eucalyptus. To the south, there is a small peninsula (called O Tenlo) that appears almost like an island when viewed from the land and features an old lighthouse (lighthouse of Tenlo Chico) commissioned in 1916, which was first lit on 30 November 1922. The lighthouse emits white light with equidistant flashes and has a range of no less than 15 nautical miles, standing at 38 metres above low water. Tambo has two beaches connected at the northern part of the island and three small jetties.
Beach Area of Coba
The beach of Area Cova is one of the most popular in the municipality of Cangas. It is located in the Ría de Aldán, where the waters are crystal clear and the sand is white. It is frequented by young people and locals from the area. It has a volleyball court and restaurant options.
